it's a numbers thing

Yesterday, I saved $1.25 in bus fare by race-walk-pushing 30+ lbs. of kid in a 29 lb. stroller 3.1 miles...uphill...for 1 hour...in 90 degree heat with high, high humidity. After, my head was haloed by a steaming crop of corkscrew curls...it took 40 minutes for the red to leave my face...and I was goofily, stupidly, 100% proud.
