SelPorDay

Two weeks ago, I discovered mihow's creative SELF-PORTRAIT DAY site via the comments section of daily-read DOOCE, and decided to submit (yup, this photo was taken Tuesday during a rare moment between hacking fits and nose-to-tissue combat).

It's a fun collaborative project, and I've discovered a few new gems by linking from there. This one, for example, has some stunning content. A few posts rely heavily on reprinted song lyrics---not my favorite---but her original content is often powerful and lovely.
